11. Do I need to be flexible to do hot yoga?
Not at all! Hot yoga is for everyone, regardless of flexibility. Flexibility is something you'll build over time, and the heat helps your muscles relax, making it easier to safely stretch and improve your range of motion.

12. What should I bring to class?
Bring a yoga mat, a large towel (to cover your mat or wipe sweat), and a water bottle to stay hydrated. If you forget something, we’ve got you covered—mats, towels, and water are available for rent at the studio.

13. What should I wear?
Light, breathable, and moisture-wicking clothing is best. Think athletic shorts, tank tops, or sports bras—anything you feel comfortable sweating in.

14. Is hot yoga safe for beginners?
Absolutely! Our classes are designed to accommodate all levels, and our instructors will guide you through modifications to match your ability. Just listen to your body, take breaks if needed, and hydrate before, during, and after class.

15. How hot does the studio get?
Our studio is heated to approximately 98-104°F with controlled humidity. This environment is carefully designed to enhance your practice, improve circulation, and support detoxification.  Typically the room gets warmer as the class progresses.

16. Will I get dehydrated?
As long as you hydrate properly before and after class, you should feel great! We recommend drinking plenty of water throughout the day and adding electrolytes to replenish minerals lost through sweat.

17. What if I feel overwhelmed by the heat?
It’s normal to need time to adjust to the heat. You’re always welcome to rest in a seated or lying-down position whenever you need a break. Over time, your body will adapt, and the heat will feel energizing rather than intimidating.

18. How often should I practice hot yoga?
This depends on your goals! For general health and wellness, 2-3 classes per week is a great start. For deeper benefits like flexibility, strength, and detoxification, practicing 4-5 times a week can be transformative.

19. Will hot yoga help me lose weight?
Hot yoga can support weight loss by boosting your metabolism, burning calories, and improving overall fitness. Plus, it helps reduce stress, which can lead to better eating and lifestyle habits.

20. Is hot yoga safe during pregnancy?
It’s best to consult your doctor first. While some experienced practitioners continue hot yoga during pregnancy, modifications and a doctor’s approval are essential.

21. How should I prepare for my first class?
Arrive 15 minutes early to get settled, stay hydrated throughout the day, and avoid eating a heavy meal 1-2 hours before class. Let the instructor know it’s your first time—they’ll help you feel comfortable and confident.

22. What are the benefits of practicing in a heated room?
The heat improves flexibility, increases circulation, aids in detoxification, and enhances focus and mindfulness. It’s not just a workout—it’s a full mind-body experience!
